Born and raised in Rochelle, I fell in love with nursing when I spent four years in Mexico as a missionary. My heart broke as I saw how simple interventions could change people’s lives. So, I felt God calling me to become a nurse in 2003. I spent 10 years in ER and ICU before becoming a family nurse practitioner in 2013. I have since worked mainly as a hospitalist and in palliative care. Recent changes in healthcare have brought me to be passionate about a more holistic approach to wellness. By supporting our environment and what we put in our bodies, we can greatly impact our health for the better. I have struggled personally with obesity my whole life and am on a journey to wellness myself as I learn to change my lifestyle. I am passionate about keeping people healthy and healing their bodies from the inside and through modalities that are proven through multiple studies and experiences.

I currently live locally. I am married with five kids who keep me active and running from activity to activity. I teach nursing part time as I feel it is imperative to impact the new generation of healthcare workers. I am certified in critical care nursing, hospice and palliative care as an advanced practice nurse, and in online teaching. I also carry a certificate in functional medicine and legal nurse consulting.

My goal is to redefine health by providing opportunities that aren’t readily available to the community that I have grown up in and have raised my children in. I am excited to bring these treatment options to those of you on the same journey as I. I look forward to meeting you and walking with you on your journey to health and wellness!
